  1. My fandom which I will be writing about will be my hobby, which is going to the gym and working out in general. Reason why I think it’s important to my sense of identity is because I’m very passionate about it and to this day I still frequently go to the gym making it part of my life.

My fandom is music and I’ll be writting about that because music has built my personality and self esteem and it has helped through so many times that were rough, it helped create bonds with people that are unbreakable and to discover many parts of my own that were hiding, talents that I wasn’t aware of. so yeaH 🙂

I begin my paper by relaying the moment that I was first introduced to the art and that it’s not a mere hobby but has become pertinent fabric of who I am. That it is not the performing aspect of it as much as it is the writing and the creativity involved. Essentially, how performing and writing poetry reaffirms various parts of my identity as an Arab woman.
