The play was really good and i think the playwrights did excellent job at writing it. If their was only a video of the play to see how they put everything together and give me a better understanding of it. I think they have to see what were the stereotypes each race has. To make it feel right and people from that race can relate to it. Doing my own research to make analysis to Intersections would give an understanding what people of that race go through just because the color of their skin. Intersections has grabbed me can’t explain it but the play made think about racism and how our country sadly at time is going through racism. I don’t what type of research I want to do yet from the play. Research means to me is finding answers to what you don’t and want to know.Research should be guided by questions because research basically questions we want answer to. I don’t know what should motivate my research yet because I don’t what i want to basic my research on.

For our second assignment in Eng102, we are reading a play “Intersections” written by a group of students from our college. So far it seems like a very interesting and thoughtful piece of writing. I think the playwrights had to do research about the living styles of certain ethnic groups and the ways they communicate in and behave in certain situations. And I guess I can help myself in deeply analysing this play by researching on the same basis as the playwrights.

The most interesting thing about this play I have found is the way that different situations in different parts of the play merge together by the end. For me, the word “Research” means trying to explore something, and research should be guided by only authentic and verified sources. In my opinion, curiosity about something motivates us to research about it.

 

After reading the intersections, i think the playwrights had to do research on issues we are facing daily such as successfulness, inhumanity, dependency, family complication, education value. Some research about inhumanity might be helpful. I will need to research why our society still face brutality, what’s the  consequences. I’ll need to find information why in educated and modern society do we still face inhumanity. There are many victims targeted that are innocent not only in U.S but abroad too. I might have to research criminal records/innocent victims. While i was reading through the scripts i see that everything going on in the play are all reality situations. I mean almost all these circumstances we face in life. I felt it real. I felt myself in some of the play i can relate to. Using different forms of research will help me look through deeper understand and and examine different ideas related to the topic. I will not have to randomly put out my ideas in my opinion but research will help me enhance my knowledge about the topic. Research to me is doing deeper investigation about study, finding facts, doing analysis, examine and research guides us to conclusion. I think when we research about something that means we want to reach the point where we get the conclusion or get what we want and if we are curious and interested in the topic that’s where it should motivate us.
