Rough Draft Assignment #2

Most of us can relate to the issue that intersection has addressed. In the play the cast was place with one situation after another. The play discuss concern such as illness, eviction, drugs, and police harassment.

As I review the play written by college student I realize the challenges student faces in life. The Character Janelle felt that she had to take care of Her Grandma because she took her and her two siblings in when their mother pass. I will like to take focus on the healthcare issues presented in the play. When Dr. Hernandez came in the room and give Janelle, Danielle, and Travis the results of their grandma tests he stated that unfortunately the cancer is in stage 4, and with the cancer in stage 4, there is a chance it metastasized and is spreading quickly to other organs. I’m sorry but at her age, there’s nothing that can be done. I question; could there been another alternative for someone of her age.

Questions:

  1. With my focus on healthcare should i be focusing on something else?
  2. What should be my focus?
  3. Where should I begin with the health issue?
  4. Should I be looking at the challenges her grandkids are facing?

  1. Hey Myra,

sorry for getting back to you late but like we spoke in class that last question you mentioned before I left I think was the best one yet. its really hard to find a specific question that’s going to really give you enough research and wont be that hard to write a paper about.

    1. if you think healthcare is going to be the best topic for you and you know you can express youself well with it go for it!.

    2. focus on being more specific on the question.

    3. you can either focus on the cancer subject or healthcare.

    4. I don’t think you should be looking at the grandkids because there wont be any research to do on that.

I believe the question you made that you mentioned the morphine is the question you should really use. I hope this was helpful ! Good luck

    1. Myra,

I’m excited by what we talked about in class on Wednesday — do you feel like you’ve gotten better direction since then/since posting this? If not, you can always feel free to either comment here or just email me, and we’ll continue to work it out!

I’m pleased with your progress so far — figuring out where to focus is rough!!! But I know you’ve got this, and I’m excited to see where you wind up!
