  1. Although wrestling is originally a mexican sport, americans took it over and “white-washed” it using characters that are minorities to make them look good. Mace feels torn about speaking up because he doesn’t want to lose his place as well as being put in the spotlight for a negative reason

  2. VP is a mix of several different cultures which none of are being represented but a caricature of several different wrong interpretations of ignorance and racism being seen as “worldliness”

  3. Chad Deity plays off an image of an black man that breaks through the stereotypical racial boundaries, living the American dream of the quick wealth and fame through pro wrestling.

  4. E.K.O expresses typical political, patriotic, racist, “American” views in order to push his agenda of playing on racial stereotypes in order to make money. He plays to the casual racism that is all too common in American culture by giving the wrestling characters he manages stereotypical roles. He makes Mace play the role of a “job stealing Mexican” despite being Puerto Rican. He goes on to make V.P play the role of a “fundamentalist terrorist” despite being an Indian man from Brooklyn New York.
